Google is a US tech company and is not under the jurisdiction of any other government other than the US. We can disagree with the Trump's ridiculous postering but it is beyond the pale for Mexico to bring lawfare to US companies. If the Mexican's don't like it, they can not use Google, use other alternatives or build their own search engine / mapping solution.


Google delivers a product in Mexico to Mexican audiences and is therefore subject to the jurisdiction of Mexican courts… lawfare is fine here.

No, for instance Google Ltd is a UK company. You will find similar worldwide. It doesn't work the way you think it does.
