Seems cool. Sponsors some really interesting projects.
When I started to use Android without Google a few months ago, I reached for FUTO keyboard. I love it (supports swiping), and the voice input is great, probably 98+% accurate. I'm using it to type this out right now!
I've been trying to find a FOSS alternative to Gboard that allows you to seamlessly type (and swipe) in multiple languages without having to switch between them. I've tried FUTO keyboard before but it doesn't support that (yet?)
He started fixing Macbooks in a New York City park about 17-ish years ago. He specializes in board-level repair, and has autisticly memorized every chip model that routinely fails in every Macbook since. He made that Youtube channel to vent about how Apple makes repairing Macbooks difficult. Over time, he expanded to how other manufacturers makes repair difficult, and even how New York City makes it difficult to do any kind of business. (That's why he moved away.)
I would like clarification or sources as well. But I don't doubt you, I stopped watching during COVID lockdowns as he started to spew some absolutely vile political opinions and nonsense like COVID isn't real or serious. Broken clock is right twice a day and all that, his right to repair stuff is good.
I watch his channel somewhat religiously, and I've never heard him spout homophobic nor racist stuff. (He lived in NYC until recently!) Be careful with those labels, because incorrectly using them outs you as a leftist.
