Like nitter, there is Teddit and Libreddit, which are both alternative (read-only) frontends for reddit

Teddit: https://codeberg.org/teddit/teddit

Libreddit: https://github.com/libreddit/libreddit

Both however use the public Reddit API, unlike Nitter which does page scraping. So they'll need significant updates to work past July 1st.

This is true, both will be SOL come July. There is some discussion going on in Libreddit for solutions in https://github.com/libreddit/libreddit/issues/785
