With the exception of the now-defunct AOL, the median age of employees appears correlated to the age of the company. It makes sense that IBM, Oracle, and HP are near the top of the list.
When looking at older tech workers, keep in mind that there are fewer computer science graduates from 1990-2000 (~40-50 years old) than from the 2010. Even if we randomly assigned workers to companies, the median age would skew toward the younger end by numbers alone.
