At first, I misread this as "One of the biggest advantages...", and I still think that is the correct conclusion.
I once made the mistake of putting an unguarded comment section on my now defunct blog.
Within days, it was stuffed to the gills with tentacle porn links. There were no readers, just spam. I dropped the comments table and never went back.
