I got the maximum when selecting just the first two options, and that’s just in my role as a regular SWE. I used to be a DA and my responsibilities were much more varied, so something seems off here.
The tool could benefit from some explanation as to the meaning of its calculations.
Hmmm perhaps the speed-o-meter is the wrong visualisation though - it makes people want to have the dial far across to the right to have "maximum achievement".
Seems broken on Android, as a heads-up. This also seems to omit the fact that a lot of times people in devrel are at the intersection of many areas, so a pie chart doesn’t do it justice.
The pie chart on the right is a representation of whether the activities selected via checkboxes align with Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, Referral or Product (AAARRRP) goals, as outlined in the referenced Defining Developer Relations blog post https://www.leggetter.co.uk/2016/02/03/defining-developer-re... I believe it very much reflects that DevRel is a multi-functional discipline.
