Not sure about which model, but 200 pounds is actually a bit light for a 36" CRT.

I used to lug around a 27" CRT by myself every time I moved, and it was a giant pain in the ass. It was worth it though for the picture quality.

And for that matter, 36" ≅ 91cm, 27" ≅ 69cm, although strangely TVs are still advertised in inches in many otherwise-metric countries.


At first I wasn't sure why you were making this comment, then I realized many HN readers might not be familiar with US-centric measurements.

If you think that's heavy I've seen people selling 40" CRTs, which I think weigh around 315 lbs
