You can frame facts in different ways, but you can also tell things that contradict known facts - ie, lies. It's the latter that shouldn't go without consequences.

Consider phrases like:

"Some people say [lie]." (Fox News favorite)

"According to some theories, [lie]"

"Doctor Ganz Rechts Rassenreinheit says [lie]"
