HN hosting more right-wing COVID-denier dribble. It has nothing to do with tech and HN, but it stays up anyway.

Gross. Jobs was a wife-beating pathetic bully who took credit for the work of others and is dead today because he thought fruit smoothies would cure his pancreatic cancer. People who look up to him are idiots who just don't know the truth or immoral deplorables who do.

Putting Woz on that coin would have been a better choice. Woz would hate it, because he has humility, something Jobs didn't.

In true HN style, many have used this as an opportunity to shill their own blogs. They can't even imagine not being selfish. "If you are not doing it to Get Mine, what's the point?"

I'm sure they're somewhere, but a quick scroll down doesn't seem to indicate this at all. Most of the posts I'm seeing have been people talking about why they blog, I'm not seeing self-aggrandizing.

You have ADD.

> during which I’ve gotten a lot of value out of doing. has been a erroneous retort to the value of space repetition for decades, during which I’ve gotten a lot of value out of doing it.

I imagine spaced repetition is not actually a cause of repeating yourself. That's just caused by being too lazy to proofread before you post.

This should not have been flagged.

This is you HN. If you want to get mad because you don't like what's in the mirror, that's on us/you.

This is mostly just a rant without any argument to support the headline. I am more or less aligned with the author but I don’t think it is inappropriate to flag it as unlikely to lead to good discussion here.

Lots of poor judgement here. Needs maturing. I suspect there's some non-native English speaker problems here too.

I am severely disappointed there is no a single "quick question", though there was a "quick win", which is bad but not as offensively bad.

I was there. I helped build it.

It was better.

What a bunch of paid marketing dribble.
