This really has been Fed policy for much, much longer than 20 years. It's been known since the stagflation associated with the 1973 oil crisis that it doesn't really work very well, but it's practically the only lever they have, so they keep using it.

Judging only from the date the author graduated from college: he wasn't around in the 70s, and he was a child for the 80s and much of the 90s. Apparently history began only when he was old enough to start paying attention to it.
Most billionaires are pretty bad, and Musk is among the worst of them.
I had a think for a while about the least bad billionaire, and I'm going to go with Taylor Swift. The worst thing she does is have an astronomical personal carbon footprint, which is true of all billionaires.
