I think the title is best written as "some European countries have higher median wages than the United States". Tech is still likely to pay more in the US, not to mention the fact that there are far more tech jobs in the US than in the EU. Europe has really failed to recover from both the 2008 financial crisis and the covid-19 pandemic, while US GDP growth has soared since then.
