Whether micro, threshold, or full-on trip, LSD usually has a duration of around 8-12 hours before you're back to baseline (and tolerance is long, usually two weeks before another similarly-dosed experience would have the same potency)

Maybe the parent meant DMT? That's suspiciously smoke break length.
